Samsung announced the Galaxy AI features alongside the Galaxy S24 series during the Unpacked event held earlier this year. These AI features, which were made available to many flagship devices, including the S series, Z Fold series, and tablets through the One UI 6.1 update, are now rumored to be made available for select A-series phones. Here are the details…

The Galaxy AI features, introduced with the S24 series, garnered significant attention and boosted Samsung’s sales. The update, which has so far been released for flagship devices up to 2021 models, is reportedly set to roll out to mid-range A-series devices soon.

According to the reports, Galaxy AI features will first be made available for the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 models, which were introduced in 2024, possibly through the One UI 6.1.1 update. Information that surfaced this morning suggests that the One UI 7.0 beta may have been delayed, indicating that the One UI 6.1.1 update will continue to roll out. Although a specific date is not yet confirmed, it’s expected that the A35 and A55 could receive AI features by the end of this month or in September.
